The Au Pair program has been created according to the rules of the United States Department of State. The aim is to foster sound cultural exchanges for young people from abroad and American families.
The normal Au Pair may spend 12 months in the Unites States providing live-in child care for American families.
In exchange for her or his services the au pair receives a weekly pocket money and funding for studies at a post-secondary educational institution.
